Music Fundamentals
The students will learn how to read, write and understand music by a combination of theory and practice, with listening and analyzing skills. Based on the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, this program includes the study of the following subjects, in a graded organic way.
Outcomes:
Either to become a professional musician or learn as a hobby, music theory is vital for a better understanding of music. Studying theory is a must for anyone who would like to become a composer, performer, musicologist or teacher.

Time: 1 or 2 hours a week
Groups: 4 to 8 students
Requirements: Students will need a copy of the book Theory in Practice (5 grades) by Eric Taylor (available on several websites).
